In this dog walking diary (!) I’m trying to capture the essence of the seasons, what it’s like to be out at x o’clock at y time of year. At the end of the year I’ll hopefully be able to look back and see lots of different colours and perspectives, I’ll remind myself of the encounters we’ve made (so far: one woodpecker, lots of mud, some people with torches) and the effect will be pleasing enough.
